“Civil War” continues to top the U.S. box office with $11 million

“Civil War,” a fictional plot about the collapse of public order in the United States, continued to top the North American box office over the weekend, according to ratings released Sunday by expert agency Expert Relations.

Starring Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Wagner Moura, the film grossed $11 million in the US and Canada, according to the same source.

Dunst plays a photojournalist during the American Civil War.

Second place went to “Abigail,” earning $10 million. In this film, criminals kidnap a woman before discovering that she is a vampire and making her pay the price for her kidnapping.

Third place went to “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” with $9.5 million.

In fourth place was “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” with $9 million. Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Henry Cavill, Eiza Gonzalez and Henry Golding, this action film tells the story of the recruitment of highly trained soldiers to fight against the German forces during World War II.

Japanese animated film “Spy x Family Code: White” finished fifth with $4.9 million.
