Worldly Style: Moroccan Lamps

Stylespotting around the globe: travel not only brings new experiences, it can bring us ideas for fashion, interior design, lifestyle, architecture and entertaining.

A fantastic souvenir from a visit to the exciting country of Morocco are handmade artisan lamps. Some are made with naturally-dyed goat skin stretched across a hand-hammered iron frame which casts a soft glow once lit. Women artists hand paint henna designs of tribal tattoos, making each piece a unique and gorgeous addition to any room.

Charming hanging glass lanterns can also be spotted throughout the winding alleys of a Moroccan souk market.
