If you're a traveler and music-lover on the go, Slacker Radio has new mobile applications for iPhone and BlackBerry which might be a great way to hear your favorite music.
There's no longer a need to buy a special device to use Slacker internet radio services via a wifi connection. And in fact, BlackBerry smartphone users can now hear their favorite stations wherever they go, whether they are connected to a wireless network or not – a Slacker Mobile feature exclusive to BlackBerry smartphones.
The Slacker Mobile application works with the free Slacker Basic Radio service, as well as their premium subscription offerings. Either way, users to stream music from over 100 expert-programmed Slacker stations, over 10,000 artist stations or a nearly unlimited number of the listener's own custom-created stations. Pretty sweet.
Slacker has a growing international selection with world music and hits in the UK to get you in the mood to go abroad. But currently, only U.S. customers will be able to take advantage of the mobile applications.
Mobile users can download the free application by visiting www.Slacker.com from your iPhone or Blackberry.
