Last Minute Labor Day Travel? Priceline's Top 50 Destinations - 206

There is a three day weekend coming up. What to do, what to do?

Our vote? Travel, of course!

Maybe Priceline.com can help with their 7th Annual List of Top 50 Labor Day Destinations. There are great last-minute deals to be found on flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, packages and cruises. And according to Breaking Travel News, while New York City remains in the number one spot, unlike last year’s list 2009 offers a variety of deals for international destinations such as London, Rome and Paris.

The Top 50 list is based on neighborhoods so many cities take up more than one slot. For example, in New York City the Times Square/Theater District, Chelsea Area, the Empire State Building area and Midtown East are all in the top 10. Likewise, both the south and north ends of the Las Vegas Strip are high in the ranks. These are accompanied by Downtown/Pike Place Seattle, Union Square West in San Francisco, Millennium Park in Chicago and Copley Square in Boston.

Still haven’t found a favorite? You can check out the full list on the travel ekspert

Travelers planning a Labor Day trip can check out the PriceBreakers deals which, as of today, include 50% off last minute flights around the U.S., 3-star Las Vegas hotels for $79 a night, and up to $20 off weekend car rentals. Many of the deals, especially those for hotel-only, can be booked using the NameYourOwnPrice® system.

Happy travel-deal hunting!
