Fair Trade for a Trip to Ghana with Cadbury Dairy Milk! - 417

Photo by Chocolate ReviewsAttention Canada residents, this contest is for you! Cadbury Dairy Milk is celebrating their Fair Trade Certification with a sustainable travel contest. This certification will make Fair Trade chocolate more accessible around Canada, and as a result, you could win a trip to Ghana with three of your friends!

The Fair Trade for a Trip for 4 to Africa contest allows you to fair trade your way to winning this vacation. To enter you need to register at the site and then decide what you are willing to trade to win the trip. So far entries include volunteering at food banks, helping with animal welfare groups, and teaching in schools around the world. You’ll need to sum up your trade in 250 words or less and include a photo or video.

Registered users will then vote on which trades are Fair and Not So Fair, and those ranked in the top 20 will be entered to win the grand prize. One winner will be drawn at random from the top 20. He or she will win the trip to Ghana under the condition that their trade must be fulfilled.

The prize includes a trip for four from Canada for nine nights in Ghana. You will receive some meals, and spending money. The highlight of the trip, however, will be a tour of a Ghanaian Fair Trade cocoa farm. You will have the opportunity to witness fair trade chocolate straight from the source!
