Photo by ajagendorf25There is more to celebrate this coming Sunday than Valentine’s Day with your sweetie. On February 14, 2010 China welcomes the Year of the Tiger. If you can’t make it to Hong Kong or Macau for the big day watching the Chinese New Year celebrations on earthTV is the next best thing.
Chinese New Year, sometimes called the Lunar New Year, is an important, traditional Chinese holiday. It is celebrated on a new moon between January 21 and February 21. In Hong Kong the brightly lit skyline will erupt with fireworks as part of the celebration. In Macau a parade will cover the stairs in front of the ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
You can sit comfortably at your computer and enjoy it all. The earthTV cameras will be filming the parties in both locations. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to look back at past celebrations.
earthTV’s ambition is to show the world live. Cameras and the power of the Internet bring everything from cityscapes to countryside right to your screen live as it is happening making the world a real experience.
